The map is split into North & South - thats the way Garmin supply it because of the large file size.

This map (8926) works on Mapsource (unlocked Gmap folder version), but downloading areas of Finland, there is 5 different areas in southern Finland, that cannot ne open on Nuvi. Something wrong with those areas? Device is Garmin Nuvi 360.

Your older nuvi 360 uses NT maps for Europe try that gmap folder or just use the Nordics regional file

It is capable of using both , but for Europe in uses NTU Unicode .
To find out, search your garmindevice.xml for UnicodeMaps

@tachman use the "thumbs up" button, it only takes seconds, the sample you ask for takes a lot longer
Make a copy & Investigate your garmindevice.xml (open with Internet explorer for easy viewing) It shows the location of all the files required for your device.

Welcome to the forum .These are not images .img is the extension for Garmin map files.
Your device will need to be patched to use unlocked maps.check your garmindevice.xml to confirm your HWID then search the thread below for the correct Patch kit

Your device uses NTU maps for Europe not these for older devices

2 - What is the procedure to install de .img maps?

Current situation: I Bought the garmin gps and it came with western europe only. I am currently living in eastern europe (montenegro). When it said "europe map" i thought it would have it all...
