Garmin City Navigator Europe NTU 2023.10 FID 9413

Hi, first of all I am not familair with Garmin
A friend of my ask me to help him to upgrade his Garmin Nüvi 2595 with software 8.30 because he is going to France and because North was on his Garmin I installed South on a SD card and he told me it works but are these files include complete EU ?
Or should I download City Navigator Europe NTU 2023.10 for complete EU ?
I think that is an unlocked map, do I need MapSource.exe v5.2 to unlock it ?
By the way is there a how to do manual to download ?
If someone can and will help me I appreciate

Thank you, as soon as he is back from France I take a look how to upgrade it to complete Europe.
Now he has North on his device and South on his SD card but I don´t know if North and South is complete Europe.
He told me both works so I think I don´t have to add files to the SD card anymore.
For the safety cams I have to look how to do that, maybe just like TomTom all necessary cams in the map
I will be back with an update how I did it

It worked, I just put the maps in the MAP folder and they appear when I turn on the device.
But what about the rest of the files? Are the ones in the GARMIN folder absolutely necessary? What do these files contain?

Complete Europe NTU is split into North & South .img files due to the 4Gb file limit, yes it will work without additional files, but he is missing out on Voice-activated navigation, Lane guidance with photoReal junction view etc.

Safety Cameras are not included in Garmin maps as they are updated more regularly than maps. Download .gpi files from link given & place in POI folder on device.

Thatnks for the advice about the location of the safety camera, I did not connect the device to my PC just add the South map to the SD card and it works. That was the main intention because he want to go to France next day.

The two .img map file are perfectly fine split between the device & SD card this makes up the City Navigator Europe NTU 2023.10 map coverage.
The additional files I listed are also split over North & South, as I can't know how much space you have on the device I would have just loaded all the the file I listed on the SD card.

You can load the Safety Camera .gpi files on an SD card in a POI folder, the device will ask if you want to install them when it starts up.

I found my father's Nuvi 40. I just updated software by Garmin Express. But maps are still from 2016. That's why I started to look for new maps through the internet and found this forum and topic. I'm downloading torrent from this post:

Yes it will fit, you only need the two JCV files & the two .img files. Format your 8Gb SD card FAT 32 and arrange/name as below

I've Fiat Freemont(2014) also called "Dodge Jurney"
I want to update its navi maps

There is a guide;

But i don't have Garmin Nuvi 3.x

Is there anyone has it.
Would you create South EU files(for Turkei region) according to the guide and upload

Southern Europe map does not include Turkey only Central & Eastern map set

that 4 rar file need password is 3.65g

after download europe 2023.10 only one zip file 4gb+ need password to open zip file .
