Hi Guys!

Extracted and ran CityNavigatorEuropeNTU2023.10Update.msi then i completed the process with Unlock MapSource.exe and it was completed.
When i try to start MapInstall apllication, its says that i have to unlock the map. So i tried with Jetmouse 1.5 with my Unit ID, chosen Costum map and added 9413 as MapId.
Finally generated a few codes but it stil wont activate the 2023.10 map. It says Unatorized under status.

Can somebody please help me please? :D




UPDATE: I was using Unlock Mapsource.exe on the folder where i extracted the installation files and gmap folder. I see now that, after installation of the .msi file, the .gmap folder is also copied to c:/programdata/garmin/maps. I am currently running the Unlock MapSource tool in this folder to see if this is the solution to my problem.

you do not have to launch the .msi installer but simply copy the City_Navigator_Europe_NTU_2023_10.gmap folder in C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps
Once this is done, launch Unlock Mapsource.exe inside the folder C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps\City_Navigator_Europe_NTU_2023_10.gmap
You can then use MapInstall to create your MapSets.
Remember that the generated MapSets (usually named gmapsupp.img) must be Unlocked with gimgunlock-0.04.exe before they can be used on the Devices

Hello all,
I know most people want unlocked maps but is it possible to get a torrent of the LOCKED version of CN Europe 2023.10?
I have Garmin Drive 61 that I was updating by Garmin Express and never needed to "hack" it to accept unlocked maps. But since this year Garmin has changed unilaterally how Drive 61 works and Express does not offer the full Europe map any more, only regions of Europe.
So when I tried copying 2022.20 to the SD card manually I figured out that actually it does not accept the unlocked map, only the locked one. Currently I have the full Europe 2022.20 locked on it.
Thanks in advance if you can provide the locked version of 2023.10.

Not impossible to get original(locked) maps but no one wastes their time and storage space uploading them as most need them unlocked.
If your Drive 61 has Lifetime maps for full Europe and GE is only offering regional maps it suggest your device does not have enough space to load all the files required for all of EU.

Try using the clone method, make a copy of your garmindevice.xml and place it in a folder called Garmin on a FAT32 formatted 16Gb SD card and let GE update it. This will produce .img map files and unlock files .unl .gma for your device.

You don't say what device for the JCV's
Southern Europe is one of the regional options offered by GE, which includes all the additional files including JCV

I managed to download the UK & ROI.rar file, but it only contains the D2968380A.img file.
I just need the D2920360A.JCV file now.

When I try the uptobox links in the first post (for UK and Ireland), either the uptobox is blank white, or it shows a "This site can't be reached" or it sometimes shows as having to wait 30 minutes for the download, but I haven't been able to download it yet.

Does anyone have a different link for the D2920360A.JCV file?

Upto link works fine, there is a 30 second wait to use the free download and a 30 minute wait if you want to re-download something.

If you are updating your Dads nuvi 2517 again it should be able to display PhotoReal Junction views ,I would try them first, Use simulation mode to test
