While the CN Turkey NT 2024.10 map I obtained from this forum works on my device, the CN Turkey NTU 2025.10 map I obtained from this forum does not work on my device. Since I did not know whether it was locked or not, I also unlocked the file with gimgunlock004.exe. It didn't work again. How is it possible that the NTU 2025.10 map does not work while the NT 2024.10 map works?

Clue's in the name - NT versus NTU. The U stands for "Unicode". Only more recent Garmins can handle Unicode. Sounds like your one can't. You'll have to wait for the NT file to come out - it is not updated as often as the NTU. I have an older Garmin (nuvi 765) and am in the same position.

Be patient, it'll be out when it's out - this is done by people who don't owe you anything.

My device in the car runs NTU maps. It is a device with the original and latest updated map of NTU Turkey 2017. I can't understand how it can open an unlocked NT map and still not be able to open an unlocked NTU map. Or the shared NTU 2025.10 map is a locked map. Actually, I need a NTU map that is known to be unlocked for me to understand that it can run unlocked NTU maps.

Your Oregon 700 requires Patching to use these unlocked maps.
