If you have the Garmin software CD version 4.0 - version 5.5, you can download this file and unzip it to any folder on your computer! Then, start the setup.exe file. After installation, start the software and upload the new map GPS device!

• 2005. January 1 Garmin purchased and registered prior versions (v3.1 and older) can not update free of charge.

For those of you who have pre-programmed SD card, purchased a GPS receiving device with a Hungarian map.

• Download the file and unzip to a temporary folder on your computer!
• Check for Hungary Garmin SD card write protection on the card side of the stand towards the pins!
• Insert the SD card containing Garmin was a card reader connected to your computer! The nüvi, zumo, StreetPilot c5XX device can be used as a card reader.
• It is important that the Garmin device is connected to two computer drives will appear. The SD card reader - depending on your operating system - the "Removable Disk Drive" as shown (not the "Garmin" or "nuvi" or "zumo" drive), to be found in the Garmin folder and those files.
• Copy the SD card in the "gmapsupp.img" the named file there, overwriting the file with this name!

Warning! This update is only on the SD card used in Hungary maps on which the \ Garmin folder contains a "gmapsupp.unl" file name too! Older cards do not have this file, and does not work on a fresh map. Please contact customer service for help!
