Could I have some help with installing this, please. I am very new to hand held GPSr and really dont know what I am doing?

And then copy/paste unlocked image on your unit in .system folder for nuvi or garmin folder on SD card

Could I have some further help please? I've downloaded the files, unzipped them, which leave me with a 2.3 gig image file. I copied the file to my Garmin Oregon 400t, and turned it on. I anxiously awaited for the gps to load up. When I turn it on it says building maps, then I get a screen that says " can't unlock maps". The unit still boots up, just does not read the new maps. I thought these files were unlocked? Have I done something incorrect, or is my Oregon not suitable to these maps? If I need to unlock them, what do I use and how do I do it? Assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Running a Zumo 660 with firmware version 4.10.

I get the following error message "Cannot authenticate maps". The suggested repair fix is to downgrade the firmware to version 3.5. However my other 'unlocked' maps are working fine on 4.10.

Any suggestions ?

hi,first posting,new at this,downloaded all the .rar files,unzipped to one .img file,unlocked them via Garmin Unlocker,but cannot get them into mapsource 6.16.3 on the pc,have tried maptoolset with cgpsmapper but get the message-incorrect parameter-
any suggestions greatly appreciated

I downloaded the map from a torrent when I didn't find any other way. I got it in March after I wrote my previous message and received no reply. But I am sure it is still available. The map is dated as 2010. I made a short search just now and found out that no newer major versions exist (?).
