Hello
In principle, there is no need to patch the GPS when using unlocked maps. I have never patched my Garmin GPS and I use unlocked maps including Topo France V5.

Agreed, but I asked if he had Patched his Fenix 5x, I never said he had to. There would be no reason to teach him how to change the code page if he had already Patched his Fenix 5x device to use Birdseye or other maps.

I read some say there is no SQL file,
I saw in the post of michel580 there is a SQL file:
SQL_010-D1198-01.rar

Is this SQL file working? Is that the correct file?
I also read in the description:

BirdsEye Subscription France: 1 year offered and unlimited area to download maps IGN (Scan 25®) in raster format and scale 1: 25000 (France and DROM-COM)

Is it possible to get BirdsEye view on a Garmin Fenix 6x Pro? and if so, how?

For your information, I just placed the files on my watch an the Topo maps are working, no patch or anything needed.

Hello,
The BirdEye subscription are not IGN 1/25000 maps but poor quality satellite photos of the world (not from IGN), I tried on my 66s but gave up because they are not enough images readable.
For the rest, I do not know how to answer.

The Mega.nz links in the first post of this thread are working. There is no need for a torrent. If mega.nz is blocked by your ISP then use a proxy.

Same for me, I have just copied the ".img" file into "Garmin" folder in my Garmin Edge 530, and it works fine, I did not need to patch something.

Hi thanks for your reply and all my apologies to answer so late.
I fix the issue. The problem disappear when I activate the two maps (france nord and sud).
No it works perfect and I can do my favourite sport

@mimichris: your megalink gives v Sud, I think that SissyDomi whill have a working version of v Nord.

Hello,
You simply have to copy the * .IMG file to the memory card and to the "Garmin" directory.

To change the TYP of a * .IMG file, you must download ImgTool [Please Register or Login to download file]
then open the * .IMG file then change the TYP.
