For my unpatchable Montana 700i I found solution to add Topo OS maps using [Please Register or Login to download file] and JNX2IMG converter. Works perfect. [Please Register or Login to download file]

please upload gmapsupp_England_South_West_TOPOGBv3Pro25k.rar one more time, the file was deleted

Apologies if this is an idiot level question. I've tried to add one of these files to my GPSMAp64s, but it "can't authenticate". So far i've tried

unlocked and installed 6.60 (latest update for my device)
checked it can display homemade JNX (which i took to indicate my device is unlocked)
used gimgunlock on the .img files
then ImgTool to change codepage

uploaded direct to device and error message during boot that it can't authenticate map.

please let me know if I'm doing something dumb or if there's something else i should try

Amazing - thank you. 6.62 installed and working perfectly. I had understood from other older posts that the firmware could be correctly patched 'at home'. Obviously either I missed a critical step or used an old process. So to be clear, the steps i took (unlocking maps, changing codepage) for the maps linked here are unnecessary using this firmware? thank you again

Edit: actually just tested myself. I did need to run them through gimgunlock but didn't need to change codepage as well. Just waiting for the last missing file to complete the map, but this is great. Thanks
