With Oregon 750 you have to patch the Firmware in Pre-Boot Mode.
Also an SD Package would be usefull.

It means that with special files you can patch it from The SD card directly

Oregon 700: "Cannot authenticate maps. Contact the map content seller for help."
Any suggestion, anybody? I just copied .img and .db on an SD card, after adding the product number with GMT as instructed.
Grazie!!!

@revenant890
"Can't Authenticate Maps" message indicates you're trying to use an unlocked map on a protected firmware device which is indeed what your Oregon 700 is. Go to Universal Firmware Patcher thread:

Previously using unlocked TrekMap Italy v4 on my Etrex 30x with original firmware,
now when trying to replace with TrekMap Italy v5 in the same way "gmapsupp.img" on SD card, I get the error "Impossible to authenticate maps, please contact the map supplier".
Any advice for troubleshooting
(thanks in advance)

Trekmap v4 has codePage 1252, Trekmap v5 has CodePage 65001.
For your etrex 30x you have to change the codepage from 65001 to 1252 in the *.img.
Use ImgTool of Gmaptool

Hi guys!On my Garmin Fenix 5x plus i have the message " impossible to authenticate maps, please contact the map supplier", how can i fix it?

Like I mentioned some threads before Extrex 30x:
Fenix has MSV Weak. Unlock and change CP65001 in CP1252.
- Code:
MSV: Weak - it verifies the validity of map signatures in a simple way, you can unlock an .img using gimgunlock-0.04 (without patching your firmware), but in case of unicode maps (CP65001) you must modify the CP value (see the Temporary authentication of Unicode maps*).
