back up your old map/jcv into your pc.
unzip/unrar TypeX.exe (X = 1/2/3/4/5).
unlock gmapprom.img from MapData folder using either Fast IMG Unlocker, Garmin UnLocker Alternative - Latest Update or JetMouse Garmin Keygen v1.5 with Checksum Fix.
copy gmapprom.img into your device (Garmin or .System folder).
copy .jcv from MapData/JCV into your device's JCV folder.
for nüvi 3xxx/2xxx series only, copy files from MapData/ASR and MapData/SQLite into it's respective folder in your device.
for nüvi 3xxx series only, copy gmap3d.img into your device (.System folder).
