I have downloaded the unlocked Mexico Atlas 2012 image file but I don't know how to install it into my Mapsource program. Can anyone please explain to me how to do this? Thank you.

You must convert IMG file to MapSource:

This is not recommendable, if real MapSource version is available. This is only a makeshift, if there is no possibility to get an origin MapSource version.

There is a simple rule:
For only use on device load image version and for use on PC (and maybe device too) load MapSource version (also called gmap / CD / DVD version),
because you can always make a real Image version from MapSource but never make a fully functioning MapSource version from image.

Hello, I did all the steps and I was able to unlock the gmapMEXICOGPSMAP12_MDR.img, and the gps reads the map alright, but no topographic info is available, I cannot see the altitude curves. any idea about that? the topo info is in another file?
