I have Garmin nuvi 3970 which has preload map of CN Europe 2011.10 including JCV folder, G2S folder, gmap3d.img, gmapdem.img and gmaptz in In H:\.system.
I add to the device Middle East & Northern Africa NT 2012.20 through mapsource, to have finally gmapsupp.img in H:\Map\ (for Middle East NT 2012.2).
Please advice where to place the other files gmap3d.img, gmaptz.img & gmapdem.img of new Middle East & Northern Africa NT 2012.20 map.
Can I add them to \:Map
Or
\:Garmin
I cannot add gmap3d.img, gmaptz.img & gmapdem.img (for Medille East) in \:.system as gmap3d.img, gmaptz.img & gmapdem.img (for Eroupe map) are still available there?
Please help.
