Hi there,

I have 2 Garmins...a 260W and 780.
I was able to update the 260W using the latest unlocked image (North America 2012.30), however I am not able to do so on the 780...says I don't have enough space - even though I deleted the existing map first.

Is there anything else i can delete to make room without causing a disaster?
I don't have an SD card, but would that be my only option?
Just figure if the 260W has enough room, then so should the 780.

Anyone have this issue?
How did you work around it?

I checked out my 780 and it says the storage size is 1.85 gb

in the net .... what map you delete ?
260 and 780 have the same memory size ...
you can delete some voices, and vehicle too

I deleted the gmapprom.img just like I did in the 260W.
I'm not sure what else I can safely delete...but will keep researching.
