HI

I have just bought a UK and Ireland Mio Spirit 685
I am charging it at the mo and have not booted it up or registered the device.
I believe the device is limited to the first 4 characters of the UK postcode which sucks.
I have downloaded the following software to try out tomorrow

Am i right in thinking this unlock will provide additional functionality to the device? also i've read that ...

before some last map-update, i got, when i was on route, the ALG and mostly i saw in de right uppe corner the traffic direct sign the same as they were placed next to the route. Now i only get al small sign with only the exit numer and name i have to take. Can i change that??

just like to know how many have newsgroup access and would be interested in having the option to download the maps from there via NZB files.

If there were to be enough people interested in having this option and the mods are happy to have this option for people then i would like to find a way of doing this. Obviously i would initially need some help in doing this as there are a lot ...

Hi all, this may be a long shot but does anybody know if it is possible to disable or even remove the driving/break time settings in primo 2 truck setting.IMO the notifications are a total waste of time and screen space and nowhere near accurate,I just find it a bit tedious and annoying and can do without it.Any thoughts?

If I change the navcore from 7.903 to 8.412 version can I use maps with ALG?

I have downloded "United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_890_4222 with Automatic Installer & Patcher (Popeye)" after installing it i have executed "FastActivate_05.07.2012_Premium_edition_v1.8. 8.9"
When i try to turn tomtom on the main screen comes with read flashing cross.

I have folder called "[email protected]" on root of my device that means i have navcore 9.026.

Any ideas?

Got recently this reversing mirror with GPS (see attached sample picture). The unit comes with the GPS hardware but no software.
I have also purchased a new Copilot Live 7 package ( CD/Micro SD/ key card...etc )
The unit has a MTK3351, ARM11 processor, Embedded Windows CE 6 Pro.
I inserted the Micro SD card (with the directories 2577 & Copilot), set the "navi Path" to the "SDMMC\2577\autorun.exe" as instructed.

hi, i've been trying all night to get my go 940 live to work with a truck map ! i have downloaded " Europe_Truck_890.4266_Installer " and also " 8.398.go_work.CAB-navcore-GO-WORK " and each time i start the tomtom it says i cannot use this map with a 940 go ?

i have searched the forum and internet but not much help really ? someone did mention that truck dont work on the 940 ??
