Okay so I have updated the device, changed the navcore to 8.010 and copied Central and Eastern Europe 890.4234 maps onto it. After using AutoActive and unplugging the device it says the maps cannot be used on it. I have used FastActive, and TAASE.EXE that came along with the maps but none of them helped.
When I launch TomTom home it tells me the maps have to be activated, and asks for the code. ...

junction view does not seem to work. I have it ticked in preferences & it doesn’t work.

It has been a very long time since I have been here and maintained my device. I'm trying to update my maps and am confused as to where the actual download button is when redirected to linksave.in. Is it mandatory to download the linksave.in program which pops up?

Does anybody knows how to access the 1005Live disk to update the map?

Not sure how POIs are distributed, whether they are included with the maps or not, but can you get updates for them?

I have recently installed a map of Greece and there only appears to be a number of POIs; nothing on tourist attractions or banks for example despite being enabled in the settings.

Should they be there or am I missing an update? Or it is just they don't exist for this map?

I have recently acquired a Binatone Z430 which had old and slow maps. After much reading on the forum, I have downloaded and installed Primo 2 and and the Whereis R3 maps for Aust/NZ.
