Hi. Do you maybe have a forum thread or some kind of list of which Garmin Nuvi and DriveSmart devices are supported with manual map updates? Like those NT and NTU maps we get every quarter. Currently, I have Garmin Nuvi 255w and I can update maps when I add Europe East and West NT version on SD card. If I purchase new DriveSmart 66 for example and I don't have unlimited free map updates, ...

I have been using this site for years.
I repair GARMIN NUVI and resell deprecated units, mostly battery swaps and USB port reflow of replacement.

In the past, both with Nuvi 3597 and Drive 61, I could just put TopoActive Europe Maps on a sdcard (either from my Forerunner 965 or from internet) and use it for light offroad. Same as OSM Topo maps like frikart.no or maprando.
On the Nuvi 3597 I am not sure if I patched the device, I think not.

Hi all just having a problem with the new maps on garmin. I have a unit that has life time maps but I also have an old 255w which can not handle the big maps now and they are split. when I update my garmin, the map comes split with D9644070a.img and gmapprom.img. My son in law is looking for a Truck Sat Nav and I noticed there are some Garmin ones (Garmin Dezi 560 LMT) .
