Where do I put the .img and how do i install it in mapsource.

I am using mapsettoolkit but I get an error that the parameters are incorrect in the cgpsmapper dos box

I'm trying to upload a new unlocked gmapprom Europe 2011.1 image to my garmin streetpilot 2720. All goes well till about 5 minutes before the end. I am using GMXT on Nokia 5800XM.

From ERRLOG.TXT that is located on MemoryCard\Garmin\Apps\Symbian, I got these statements :

Does somebody know where in the Garmin software (which file(s)) one can find (and change !) the COM-port Garmin is looking for to connect to the GPS device ?
I try to get Garmin working on my mio moov 500, but the problem seems to be that the port mio offers NMEA (COM 2) does not match with the port Garmin is looking for. Several attempts with port-splitter, gpsgate etc. did not succeed so far, ...

My Nuvi 205W won't detect SD card anymore. Any advice greatly appreciated. Did a master reset already.

I just read this on another forum and wonder if it only applies to the nuvi 8xx series or ALL units? It may be another layer of copy protection by Garmin to keep anyone from copying/hacking the maps.

Let us know if you run into this or have any comments.

Can the Garmin Nuvi 295W be ripped off the device and be installed to WinMo devices?
