Does Garmin have a Postcode/Zip folder etc like TomTom, if so.

Where are the downloads to keep up to date with the postcodes for the UK

Need help, I am normally messing with TomTom maps etc and not a clue with Garmin.

But my son has a NUVI 760 and his map etc is totally outdated.

So is there a link etc of how of to download/install which map for the UK and speedcams onto a sd card for use.

I have a Garmin DriveAssist 50LMT and put a new map on a microSD card, plugged it in, booted it and the screen went black.
Any ideas ??

I have a doubt. A garmin gps truck that maps you used?
Are the same maps as for a car gps garmin?

I' have a new Garmin Nuvi 2589LMT and I install Middle East and North Africa maps but when I open my garmin device its say "cannot unlock maps"

I am not sure if this is correct

1 Set device to Mass Storage
2 Safe & then remove any gupdate.gcd from your device.
3 Download the patcher
4 Open patcher and drop the gupdate.gcd (That's the copy of the original from my gamin .sytem folder
5 incrementing the version by 1 during the patch process (Do I need to do that???)
then simply renaming the patched GCD file to GUPDATE.GCD

i have nuvi 50lm uk and ireland map, so my question are is it possible to put extra map in sd card? is it i need to unlock software? and how to do it? i can't find out how to change settings to mtp, and how to find out hwinfo :022:
