I am new here and have a question.

Can I use a newer JCV and 3D file with an older map image?

For example I have the map image loaded for North America NT 2017.10 but have installed the newer JCV (D3192200A.jvc) and 3D (gmap3d.img) files from 2017.20.

Logic tells me the 3D file might work as it is the same name. Any ideas?

The JVC file might if the name was changed ...

I've been looking at the new Garmin Drive lineup and their new interfaces look fantastic. I especially like the new map theme that's been shown with the new Garmin Drive units.

I've got a question regarding updating maps in uconnect 8.4N garmin GPS system.
I have Fiat Freemont 2012 Lounge model (with Uconnect 8.4N GPS). But the maps are old and I would like to update them to 2015 or 2016 if it is possible. I've checked the GPS section and it says that map version is

OEM CN Europe NT 2012

I'm from Czech Republic but I travel to different Europe countries (Sweden,Croatia,Slovakia etc...) ...

Hi all, I have a problem with this navigation is the latest firmware 5.00 can what cards micro SDHC, I need a card micro SDHC Kingston 8GB class 4 - upload 2-3 Maps(Europe, Russia etc.), card is formatted fat32, but in navigation appears only one map of Europe.

Other maps navigation both normal loads - you do not know where the problem could be.

Hi, if i put the new map file gmapprom on internal memory its only replace the gmapprom file or i should do something else? Thanks (On microsd i know i have to create a folder named garmin and put the file there)
