Please forgive an old man who´s memory is going.

I have a new computer and have installed Basecamp/Mapsource.
Use mapsource to create mapsets.

Trying to install CNENT 2014.40 update using msi update installer.
When I run it it asks for location for maps ..... where do I put it ?
Have tried several locations and installs wherever I put it.
However , map does not show in Mapsource and Basecamp will not start.

I have just bought a new computer running Win8.1 64bit.
I used Basecamp/Mapsource on my old computer no problems, updates ok.

I have installed Basecamp/Mapsouce ok. Runs ok.
However , when I update map using msi option in CNE NT2014.30 (worked ok on old machine)

1. Map does not show in Mapsource

2. Get the following error message when trying to open Basecamp

and when i go to proximity points to choose alert
i find all my files will have the same alert
so i want each poi file to have a its alert and some poi to not have any alert

I read where one guy said he used the map tool and picked what what maps he wanted with MapSource then unlocked what he had selected and loaded it to his 855. Since I'll be going on a holiday to Thailand I tried installing the Thailand City Navigator map on my garmin nüvi 255 software version 7.60. I've added the GMAPSUPP.img in the Garmin map on the SD-card. When I start the GPS I can see the Thailand map and the Europe map but for some reason I cannot select Thailand as a country. Hi, I'm new to this forum. I would like to update the map on my Kenwood kna-g510 unit but can't find any instructions or for that matter which map I would need to use. I plan to update the firmware on the unit as instructed on the garmin site (KNA Series, Ver. 4.20, as of Mar 09, 2012).
As for the map, the garmin site latest download for my unit is City Navigator® North America ...

I have personally done the map for Garmin. I would like that it is triggered only if indicated by the owner ID of the receiver.
Something similar in action as cgpsmapperKey.
