I have created a mapset using Mapsource, and saved it to my computer as a .gdb file. The mapset file is 240MB but the .gdb file is 4kB. Can someone answer the following questions please ?

1. Is the .gdb file a control file for loading data into Mapsource/Basecamp ?

2. If so , why can´t I load the .gdb file into Basecamp when it works ok with Mapsource ?

How do I install Garmin XT on my Mio Moov s500?
The OS is Win CE 5 .net
Already unlock using MioPocket 4.0/
I tried install Garmin XT 5.00.20 for Win CE 5, but when I run it, I got an error message "Not Valid WinCE program"
Any Idea on how to install and run correctly?

Hello everybody,
I have one problem. When I installed Garmin XT to my device, put unlocked map to SD in mass storage and put *.unl file into directory "garmin" where is also map, I can not browse map in device. Only basemap is avaliable. When I renamed this map as basemap I can see regions in "about" but device shows no map.
How can I put maps to WinCE device?
Please give me some advices ...

hi, this forum has kept me fascinated for 3 hours since stumbling across it. garmin offer their us customers a $200 rebate for purchasing both chart and chartplotter but discriminate against its uk customers.
i am hoping a solution here will solve my dilemma as to which chartplotter to purchase.
p.s. i notice that all the prior downloads on this subject are either removed or impounded!
