I have downloaded City Navigator N.A.2011.40 and Europe 2012.20 .They are in Mapsource and I can view them on the P.C.no problem.I can select them, send them to my GPS it loads them, then imforms me that the map set needs to be unlocked.Here lies the problem.
The maps appear in mapsource and show that the maps are "not lockable" how ever there is no provision given to unlock the maps to the ...

I want to put UK & Ireland maps on my nuvi. I have followed all tuts and i just cant figure anything out..

Could someone kindly confirm whether or not the "City Navigator North America NT 2012.20" map update can be used on a "Garmin c550 pilot"?
Sorry if it's dumb question....I really am a noob at this stuff...although I was able to update my "Garmin Nüvi 260W" ok....which was pretty cool.

When I try to calculate route my PNA writes "UNABLE TO CALCULATE ROUTE. NOT ENOUGH MEMORY AVAILABLE". Only for long distance calculatin (more then 1000 km).

I have created a very basic tour, it has 3 locations, very little text and some test audio.

I have not created anything fancy as this is just a test to see if i am doing things correctly before i create something more complex.

anyway, i loaded the .gpi file to my Garmin 1300 and choose the tour from my custom poi menu.

I´m kind of new in Patching new maps to Garmin and I need your help.

I want to update my Nuvi 300 maps (I have TomTom also and its easy) but I search here and there is to many programs and I don´t know what to use.

Can anyone tell me what programs and what do I need to do to update these Nuvi 300?

If it helps, I need Portugal maps.
