I have a novice user I manage to use "US & EU 2017.10" unlocked map on my SD card and I didn't update my firmware of the Garmin 3590 LMT since July 2017.

I cannot remember exactly what firmware was on it but yesterday (2 nights ago), I decided to do a Garmin Express update. I received an error showing up that the "Map is locked... Please visit... To update"... This ...

I wanted to add a map to my SD card recently and I came across "locked maps" on the Forum.

The Post that meant to teach me how to unlock them does not respond~? tutorials-f90/tutorial-how-install-gmap-folder-mapsource-basecamp-and-mapinstall-t4298.html

Any ideas how to do so? I am happy to PM anyone in private if needed. Cheers!

I have a Nuvi 1350 and wondered which files must be in folders on SD card to work correctly? (ASR, G2S, db, sid, JCV etc.) I have tried searching and have not found the exact answer I was looking for if someone can send me a link or knows off hand.

I have nuvi model 1440/1490/760 and map of Aus Nz showing fine on the micro sd card.

When try it on other nuvi models i.e 58LM it cannot read the data, say its corrupt. Does anyone know what the problem is?

i have a nuvi 3750 and i have uploaded europe 2016.30 ntu unlocked map and adria 4.30. All of the maps are showing under my maps but only adria is showing map routes on display. when i choose any city from europe 2013 screen is blank . no streets no nothing. what could be the problem

I've got a new Garmin Nuvi 2589LMT with the pre-installed maps of North America NT 2017.30.
I'm trying without success to install the map of Europe on a microSD card ,but I get the "cannot unlock maps" error.
I've downloaded garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2017.10.
I've installed the map also in the computer (locked), and then I've unlocked it with the "Protected Garmin file toolkit_2254".

I am hoping to update my Garmin Nuvi 200

I have installed and ran the Garmin WebUpdater on the sat nav.

Can someone please explain where I can download any updated maps for my sat nav? If this is possible to install through my laptop into the Garmin folder?

Or will I need to put them on an SD Card?

Confused with these and need it to work!

Hello, i have problem with my nuvi1310 it freeze in menu or when i want to make hard reset,
i dont have original sdcard, i just have kingston 8gb without anything on it,
but when i put map on it, nuvi freeze again on garmin logo and "loading map".

And when i connect it to PC i dont see it in Device manager, even when i hold power button for 10sec.

i tried to search everywhere but i could not seems to find any clue or anything how to access hidden system file to replace the garmin maps to the new ones,
or its the new garmins who need to hack the firmaware , cos i reed somewhere here , but there was the list and my unit doesnt include

I have been trying to get an update for my Garmin Nuvi 1410. I have Garmap 2010 version currently installed in it and i am looking for an updated map that includes All countries for basically the entire african continent as i do extensive travels. Where can i get a suitable free download or update that will give me access to this please help ASAP? TIA
