I have updated my Garmin on numerous occasions, thanks to the wonderful work you all are doing :clapping_mini:. I downloaded the City Navigator Southern Africa NT 2014.30 maps, all of them in that thread when the first one did not work, but for the life of me cannot get MapSource to see the map.

I have been given a sat nav to have a look at, the battery won't hold it's charge, there is no model number on it, took it apart and have seen that the battery is a 361-000198-16 so after a bit of Google and stuff it would seem that it's a NUVI 1390T

If it is true that you need the right ASR or SRX files to go with each new map, why are they never included? Are there different variations of ASR or SRX files for each model of Garmin Nuvi ?? ...
