Does updating Garmin actually will loose all my details in my GPS? I loose all the tracks and history of trails and all... any possible way to retrieve this information back? HELPPP

Can someone please put up a proper tutorial as to how to make the maps work in mapsource. I have spent a day yesterday reading all I could find, including elsewhere, but to no avail.

I learned how to add the maps to my Oregon 300, by unlocking them first and them injectiing them into the garmin folder in the device, no problem there.

Iv got a Blackberry curve and i need the Gamin Xt software. Im using a BB Curve & with use an external GPS receiver. I did try to download the trial version from Garmin but it says there is nothing available for my phone. Please help

I have a roesen nav unit 2 din similar to those Chinese HU. Can someone tell me where i can find the Mobile XT double din software?
I searched the software section but i only found Mobile XT SDMMC, Storage etc but none for double din.

Obviously even another mod can have a question. :p I'm ashamed to say that my maps for my WinCE 5.0 Garmin Mobile XT are a couple of years old. I use my iGO navs pretty exclusively. When I want to update my iGO POIs all I have to do put the new file in the content\poi sub-folder. Maps aren't touched at all. They have their own sub-folder. ...

Hi! I was wondering if someone could help me. I have gmapsupp.img file of two areas for bluechart g2. Can I transfer the file to my garmin GPSMAP62s so I can use them both in my gps? Thanks.

i only have old maps just for U.S.A, but now i want to upgrade the maps to the entire north america CAN,USA,MEX. i have downloaded the unlocked image, some jcv file, some gmaptz file and other file called gmap3d. what do i do next? how do i install the new 2011 north america maps?

i am looking for traffic keys for the south island going on holiday there soon have looked everywhere i know can someone please help me
