I have succesfully downloaded and installed Garmin Mobile PC software version 5.00.70g on my laptop, it runs through Franson GPS-Gate.

With KG15 generated the
GMAPSUPP.UNL
and
SW.UNL
file and put them in root of Mobile PC folder: C:\GarminMobilePC

Downloaded Australia map from link in Maps thread.

CNAUNZ2010.30unlocked

Inside I found the GMAPSUPP.IMG file and placed this in C:\GarminMobilePC and to be sure also in C:\Garmin\Maps

Had Map Source already installed previously in combination with nRoute ...

I got a non Garmin USB GPS and nRoute installed on my laptop.

nRoute does not connect with a non-Garmin USB GPS. For this I tried a little program called Franson GPS Gate. Works, but it is not free.

Is there an alternative solution, or free software? Link?

Would Mobile PC 5.00.70 have the same problem of not accepting a non-Garmin USB GPS? Solution, link?

I attempted to unlock mapsource 2011.20 with Jetmouse keygen and instead of a map unlocked I get a "map unauthenticated" error. Does anyone know what this means and how to unlock or "Authenticate"
