I just installed Primo 2.4 on a GPS running winCE 6.0 (most likely a chinese one, branded Klipad GPS4328). It runs OK but I noticed the brightness slider from inside the app doesn't do anything (no dimming of the backlight).

I googled a bit and found a couple of topics about the backlight not working, tried pretty much all the solutions proposed in the threads I found but still no luck... The best I ...

I downloaded the IGO8 core (and extracted via WINRAR) that chas521 posted from his march 2011 thread referenced in the above thread. I edited the sys.txt file with the suggestions that he made for my screen resolution 800X480, and from post #15 in this thread:

I still have an on-going problem with Primo 2.4 I have a Chinese 800x480 unit and my preferred cockpit layout is the alternate 2. When I select it from the menu, it restarts and I get the following error message. Failed to open file ui_igo9\800_480\ui\\cockpit2.css exiting application. Hi all,

I am running Primo 2.4 & have troubles with loading schemes/skins.
When I go into setup/map display & change day or night colours I gat the error - Cannot find 'ui_igo8/common/trackinglist.spr'

What is causing this?
How do I correct?
What setting do I need?

I have the standard '.zip' files in content/schemes etc.

I seem to be getting an intermittent issue where occasionally IGO Primo 2.0 looses the GPS signal for no apparent reason. Sometimes it comes back quite quickly and sometimes it doesn't even after a reboot. It is NOT an issue with satellite visibility as there is nothing blocking the receiver on the dash and it is clear blue sky.

Any ideas welcome, I know some have some settings in their sys.txt file but as ...

I am running iGO Primo 2 & whenever I load up a route, I have an panel on the right hand side of the screen showing 'green' items, fuel, CO2 etc. I am not using these, how can I get rid of them from the screen permanently.
Can I change colours of the maps? How?

Hi. I have searched everywhere for this. I have a DDin 8" wince 6 car navigation system (800x480)and I have installed primo which works great (thanks). I have set the systems screensaver for 2 minutes and it shows an analog clock.
Question: Is is possible to change this to a large basic analog or digital speedometer (kph)?
