trying to sort out a XXL device 5" screen, it switches on and i get the drums sound but it sticks on the tom tom logo screen, when connected to pc it connects no problem, but looking at the files on there seems to be not many files i think some may be missing also there is in tom tom .bif file that contains device details etc

any help would be great

I have a tt one 3rd edition 512 mb lost my maps and nav can anyone point me to right navcore and map would like to have computer voices and alg ty in advance

So far I see 1 change. When updating your device, there are 2 warning about not disconnnecting the device until the update is completed. The first warning can be unchecked, the second one can not.

i have installed on tom-tom go730 truck maps "Europe_TRUCK_890.4266" and
software " Navcore.9.022.457667". I use Easy Activator version "EA5_v0.57.21" but when i select the truck map I get a red screen with Error

" The current map does not contain truck attributes.Truck routing can therefore not be supported. Car routing will be applied".

Why would various TomToms ranging from Go 720-930 installed with Europe truck work for months on end then, when left unused for 2-3 weeks loop on the start screen when used again. Does anybody know a solution to this problem or am I missing something, i.e would TTgo.bif, TTgo.bak and TTgo.original present correct numbers to TomTom Home as well as preventing this problem? Thanks in advance all help is much appreciated.

Im trying to locate the latest maps for a TomTom Start device. Im not sure if it is a TTStart or a TTStart 2 (however this doesnt seem to matter as the comparison chart says both are same spec). I presume that it is an original TT Start, as the box is copyrighted 2009.. The original device came loaded with Europe 42 countries on it. The device contains "Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB" map folder and in it ...
