I have recently bought a v2 and it has a startup problem. It freezes on the splash screen.
I have looked through the forum for this problem and have tried various fixes but with no success.
I backed up the device first using Explorer.
I have tried

1. Removing all files from the internal memory and reinstalling through Home but the installation cannot be completed as the device does not boot up to complete ...

Hi.....I put map North_America_P_865_3254........ Navcore 9051 when i start tomtom home says no map found use fast activate patch TT home says it patched but still does not work say no map found how can i patch tt home? Gps is working but not when its plug in TT Home?

Im going to try this again if i can get a little help. I have a 730 go with updated map North_America_P_865_3254 which navecore goes with this? Right now i have navecore 9058a . The tomtom will not work in tomtom home also voice does not work. I would like to start over can someone tell me how to do this Btw the way im a total newbie at this tomtom stuff i do have ...

I have previously had Navigo's with TT on without a problem. I have loaded working TT7 maps on to this Foehn & Hirsch but with no success. However it does work with an old TT6 package but reacts very slowly so is not much use.
First question: Is it possible to put TT7 on this new widescreen satnav?
Second question: I have not used IGO very much....is it comparable to TT in quality?

Do I have to download multiple updates or can I jump to the latest version available?

I have tomtom 7 running on a navman s30, unfortunately it's in Polish or something like that. with a translator i worked out that it can't find the maps so it wont load.
Can anyone enlighten me where i have to out the maps, i'm at a complete lose.

I have a TomTom One 30 Series (130-s). The current info on it is:
App 8.017
OS:238932
GPS v1.21
Boot 5.5026
Map: USA_and_Canada v725.1914

Looking at the charts I believe the best navcore would be 8.410 and the best map would be 865.3262. Would that be right?

Also, if I download the navcore NAVCORE 8.410.1218 with all-in-one installer and the map with automatic installer and patcher, do I need to do anything but run each ...

I've downloaded maps truck 865-3255. navcore 8395, patched ttsystem, run the fast active etc.

Tomtom start up etc, maps are loaded, but when trying to do anything is just so slow... cannot even choice a destination as it takes ages to load up!,

Is there anything I can do or did I f... up something??

I decided to update my nav to 9.058 and map WE 865.3246, i didn't change the bootloader. when i look in the status on the TT it says i have all my changes. but when i look at it through Home it shows my old set up, i also get a App error when opening Home. I think ...

TomTom XL (v9). Just installed SE navcore 9.103.539753.2.
x30 emulation mode.
No matter what I'm trying to do with swichables in the name of saving RAM, I can't disabe TTS. :chok_mini: File "config.txt" in "txt" folder always say that TTS ir on.
Is it possible in a "casual" way at all? What switchables where should be used?
Please point me to right directions.
