I have a TomTom ONE and want to update to Western_Europe_1GB_890_4234
Trouble is the mapping is over 1GB.
So is there any way I can get the mapping on it with map zones? How can this be done?

if it states maps cannot be used without meta txt
how are we suppose to update to the new maps without the text

Just returned from British Columbia/Alberta covering some 2500km using my TTone with Map 885-4087 Canada/Alaska and the latest Speed/Safety cam updates I could find.
Only once did the Map fail, while in Banff I was told to turn right, yet the map said left.
As for the speed camera's not once did any alarms sound as none was seen, correction some schools having warning displays indicating your speed but warned they have a camera within ...

This may we be a stupid question but is it possible to run TT Live s/w on a GO 520? Just seen/used a LIVE and the interface is differeny/better.

7.901 Navcore I believe the most suitable for this unit and downloaded 895.4444 WE
Everything seems correct on card.
Any hints?

ok a new problem i have just put navcore 9.430 on my tomtom xl 310 but i can't get any of the new maps to work

i downloaded Europe 1Gb West 895.4444 with Automatic Installer & Patcher

not work and now Europe_1GB_South_895_4444 with Automatic Installer & Patcher

I can't seem to find a navcore that will do both TMC with the external receiver and Bluetooth to my Blackberry.
With the navcore 8.x, TMC is not working and with 9.x Bluetooth is not working and vice versa.

Well actually 9.x connects to the phone fine and is able to download the phone book & even make calls but there is no audio at all on the GO 720.

The phone works fine ...

Members may like to know there is now a Tomtom application for Android phones and tablets.
