I'm sorry for such a ridiculous post - but all I'm tyring to do is put some new maps on my TomTom XL350. It has the USA amps on there at the moment, I want the UK/ireland or Western Europe. I'm looking through the tutorials but have no idea where to start, they all seem to assume you have previous knowledge and none of them give what I can see as a step by ...

I have a TomTom One 3rd Edition with navicore 8.010 and i'm trying to install a Brazil map build=3810.

I used FastActivate_24.11.2011_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.0 to download meta.txt, activate map and patch ttsystem but my device continue to say "no maps found!". Any help please???

can some please help every time i try to down load the new map, it takes me to the place to download but nothing happens the site just pops up with junk? many thanks, its the uk and roi map i need.

I commandeered my missus XL Live, it has about 90 days of subscription to run. The UK & ROI map is 840, I fancy loading the 880.3810. If i patch the navcore will the live services still function? I have searched but cannot find an answer.

Thanks to this forum i have managed to get tomtom working on my wince 5
Today I gave it a run out and found everything works ok,but the refresh rate seems very slow
I.E I have gone around a roundabout and left on the exit road before the unit shows me at the roundabout.
Is there any more adjustments I can make to speed things up a little ?

im trying to get my one xl to navigate to 56.423468,-2.888224 (coordinate i got from google maps), ive tried changing the settings to Degrees Minutes & Seconds but i keep getting an error, what am i doing wrong?

I have just installed map 880, and I was wondering if it is possible to copy over my facourites pois from the 870 folder to the 880 folder, which files do I move over....?

i'm new to this. i Have this tomtom xl iq route. when I open it, it keeps saying no maps found.
I download a map, but don't know how to load the map in. there's no folder named map in the gpsé :helpsos: i'm about to cry. how do I load a map please. I searched in the tutorials on the forum, but didnt find anything.

on a chinese gps running wince 5
after running autoactive it seems to have found the maps etc
but when i fire up the unit it opens the tomtom window but then says no maps found and that i have one free map download but it only want to download via gprs when i keep scrolling the menu (next)it comes up with cannot ...

It seems to work mostly, but I can't change the Home location or the default planned route. I can input a route and it will calculate the route and get me there, but if I shut it down and restart, it goes back to the route I planned ...
