I've got a serious problem.
I've got a TOMTOM XL IQ Edition²
I used the fastactivate tool to instal a voice.
Now I get an error and can't open my map any more.
HHHHHHEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Navcore 9.130 seems to be the updated version for the chinese XL models.
Since there is no official CAB available at this time I had to take a dump from a new TT that I found on the net.
Problem is that no LoquendoTTS folder is included and the normal Loquendo voices won't work - they are greyed out.
I assume that only asian TTS voices will be supported, normal voices however work fine. ...

I've got hold on a old TT ONE XL, 32MB RAM, and 4GB SD card.
Bootloader 5.136

I would like the device to:
- play mp3 files
- transfer/receive files via BT (to my laptop and cellphone)
- the new visual style from the 9.x navcores

on the internal memory (1GB) i have the 8.4012 Navcore, and it's set to emulate x40Light (setconfig.txt) - it works ...

Could some one please tell me which of these devices is superior in speed response and overall features thanks. I currently have a One XL that has ALG , IQ Routes , Navcore 9.051 and Vocalizer voice for TTS which works perfectly. I Do even have a Official TTS Voice with a special version of 9.051 that works with or without street names. It takes about 2 minutes to boot up then ...

can someone shred some light on an issue with my friends device.you have to set the speed cameras to 500 yds-to see them,any shorter distance and they are out of sync with where they should be.. is this a gps error.. have updated the navcore,map and gps fix.. but still no joy..

Downloaded 4.1D opened it up and had a look round not realizing tom tom still attached to usb port. Waited till I could remove then on start-up got this message “You cannot use this map on this device UK and R of I” as I haven’t loaded a ...

I'm a real newbie to the world of TomTom, I have an integrated unit in my car that runs from an SD card via TomTom Home. What is the difference between FastActivate and AutoActivate? And which is the best option for my system??
