Hello ! I have TT XL2 IQ, Europe42, TMC included (not mem card), buyed 4 weeks a go from Germany (MediaMarkt) Yesturday i tryed to update via TomTom HOME. There is neded a product code , but i did not find it, in the box no CD no card code.Tomtom worked until yesturday. Now the problem is this message "NO MAPS FOUND", TomTom don't work. I restored files , but is the same problem. So ...

I have transferred all the data 'Map 850-2782, navcore 8410.1218, boot 5.5106 ' and data from previous version etc. to my SD card.

The TT starts through to the point of loading the map, then a screen message comes up

"Problem with map

You cannot use this map on this device:
Western_Europe-162

OK"

Yet the chart shows its ok for "One, Go, Rider" using my navcore.

Any clues

trying to do this on my xl with 8508271 uk maps and 9053 navcore on

everytime i try to prepare route from a to b when i select the depart from at a point on the map it just locks up and eventually reboots

it does the same if i try to plan a route from my favorites

anyone else had this before ?

im going to move on from my XL now and do my brothers 730 complete with lane guidance

which is the best navcore for this device , i have a patched version of 9053 can that be used ,also i updated mu navcore for mine from a diffrent site and the nav core was already patched, will it be the same with the ones fom here or do i need to do something else

now i have florida loaded and working it occured to me should i set the device to operate in km while there and if so do i need to use a different voice

ihave usa maps on my HTC touch pro 2 tom tom for my trip next month, but now im getting into to all this i was going to put it on my tom tom xl as well, but as its only 1 gig no card slot there is not enough room, i think i read you can get florida stat maps only which would fit

any ideas if you can get it and from where ...

ill try to be as clear as possible

from another site i got a patched navicore to update my tom tom XL(no sd card), i deleted all the stuff off my sat nav(after backing it up) and copied the new navi core acoss
i then patched my new map(ok at doing this ) then copied that across, then using easy activator i patched my tom tom system file

and it all works, but tom tom ...

i have a tomtom one but it never came with a memory card i have a spare 2gb how can i get the info to know what files and maps to use

My bro-in-law just told me he looses his satellite signal more frequently now,,,,

he's got TomTom one V6 i believe... i can triple check that later when i have it....

anyways, would upgrading his OS to lets say, version 8.412 could help?

he still got the original navcore on it.... he never upgraded it....
