Hello. I am trying to update my TomTOm One V6 with the latest USA_Canada map and I'm lost on what to do first.
Do I:
1) Update my TomTom One with TomTom Home
2) Backup the whole TomTom One files onto my hard drive
3) Update the navcore with ver 8.412 by downloading, extracting and uploading to the root of my TomTom the files SE_Navcore.8.412.1236.Basicpack.rar and SE_ttsystem.8.412.1236,rev.1.1.rar. Do I need to pathc these? What do ...

I am a complete beginner and I need an explanation of how to introduce the new maps in TomTom GO 730, and that the same work. I hope somebody can help because I start soon on the way across the whole of Europe 04/07/2010.

I downloaded the maps Central and Eastern Europe 850.2782, but I can not extract it because of errors. Is anyone else had this problem?

Is there a tutorial for Dummies (like me) :canada:
Ex.: what is navcore, where do I start, what are those patches for tom tom home... there is no start here for beginners. I have a tomtom one verry simple and I would like to use your web site and technique for my tom tom.

I am having problems loading a new navcore & new maps(Usa & Canada) on my 4 Gb.SD card.My current configuration is
DeviceName=TomTom ONE XL
DeviceVersionHW=ONE XL
BootLoaderVersion=55256
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8010
ApplicationVersion=9369
CurrentMap=USA_and_Canada

CurrentMapVersion=845.2666

I don't really know what versions of each to use.

Hi everybody,
I have:
- an HP ipaq (model hw6915) with
- Windows Mobile WM 5.
According to the ipaq user manual, the device has this GPS receiver installed:
- GL20000 from Global Locate. In case a manual setting is required for a software, the ipaq manual mentions to set it to COM 7 and a BAUD rate of 57600.

Here is my problem:

So, to get the Best Europe coverage possible,
should i get these 3 MAPS seperatly?

I've been testing this new SE Navcore 9.101.516023.2 NavCore lately...

So far so good :)

As good as the 9.051 to me at least!

And most important, BlueTooth works flawless!!

i can make Free Hand Calls and i can receive Calls too!!!

What do you guys think?

I installed a new navcore version 9.051 on my Tomtom every thing seems to be working except the red light cameras I selected the cameras to show the on the Tomtom but they do not show up when i am driving.
Anyone have any suggestion what I am doing wrong.
