I put a navcore 8.14..., load it ,map detected , but still locked after using fastactivate ???

Already one week i'm trying to change maps on my Tomtom xxl and every map I download doesn't work. I will explain step by step all my actions and could you find a mistake.

As I know version of my navcore is 9.510

I have checked in a table map that passed to my device.
Europe West 970.7466

Then I upload the map on my navigator and with program easyusetool make dct file.

Then ...

i bought a car with tomtom carminat non live without SD card

i put a sandisk 2go formatted in FAT 32 in it but carminat doesn't recognize and doesn't create the loopdir/loopback.ex3

so i can't do anything...

Please help !

been trying to download the small SA and swaziland and losetho map, but when i put it on device and run FA it says incomplete, yet in 960 or 955 there is only one part to the map, need a small map as short on space on device

Hi, !GB maps versions bring full country coverage?
I want for example Portugal, its the same i get iberia map (Portugal and spain) or europe 1GB south? I get the same coverage for Portugal? I ask this because 1GB maps could bring more limited coverage, no? Thanks

My navcore version is 8.041, can i use map for 8.06x since there isnt 8.04x?

my Tom Tom is a 4N00.012 version, I think that it's a V4 but i'm not sure.

It has 32MB of ram.

I have bought from a friend but it's without the SD that has been lost, and is obsolete, never updated.

I need to reinstall all, from NavCore to maps.

Someone can explain me the exact procedure to obtain a TomTom as new?
