We have a Kenwood double DIN head set in our VeeDub. I have been meaning to buy an update to the maps for ages but have put it off as a low priority task. However last week I actually tried to do the job and found to my horror that Garmin (& Kenwood) are no longer supporting this model. It is only 5 years old.

Any links to the 2017 or even 2018 maps for the kenwood dnx773s? Surely the maps for the 893s & other similar models would be the same

Yes I currently have the dnx7100. I have went through and downloaded the 2018 lower 49 maps for update. Consisting of two rar files. I moved them to a 2gb sd card. When i load the card all I get is a flickering screen unless I remove card. Am I missing files to go with map.img or am I missing steps. I saw asr and cjv files as well as 3D files

Recently I bought a dnx6990 in the United States but I am using it in Portugal as the model is not European GPS does not come with maps of Europe. How do I get in and where do I find the maps can be only Iberian peninsula. Thank you

i dont know from where to start. i have the model above . i flashed the firmware with garmincure and now the gps is not working. it does not let me update again with the firmware. fro onother site they told me to open my kenwood find the gps board and short 2 pins. does anyone know ? can anyone help me please....do you know any other way ?
