I have a TomTom 720 with a 9.510.1234792.103 Navcore and a 954.6746 Australia map, just installed. At one time a navcore I used, presumably, gave me sounds on the splash screen and the closing screen. I think I had "Hello, This is HAL" as the opening splash screen came up, and "I'll be back!" on the closing screen. How can I re-install these? Does it need a different navcore?

I´m using a TomTom One v8 (canada 310 if it helps) internal 1Gb (No sdcard) with a 8.041 Navcore and a 10100 Bootloader and I´m trying to update the maps to Europe 1GB South 950.6544 that I know it´s not compatible.

SO I want to update the NAvcore and went to "Navcores 9 for TomTom Devices" subforum trying to find a Navcore but every one I saw and tryied, the TT does not start ...

Ok so I am sort of new to this but I have a new map on my tom-tom One for western europe it is the 1GB West 945.6243 on the tom tom it says it's version 8.014. I was testing out the routes as I'm driving this weekend and the tom-tom can't seem to find the eurotunnel terminal and the roads around it are unnamed roads.

Just a quick check guys/gals. I've updated several devices in the past and usually did navcore updating through tomtom home.
This last time I've screwed up things (tomtom one says "no map found") probably because I've got a old navcore with a recent map and didn't pay attention to the compatibility matrix posted here.

What's the corresponding navcore version variable in ttxxx.bif? ApplicationVersionVersionNumber, ApplicationVersion or something else?
