I just bought a Renaud Grand Scénic 3 (year 2012) with Carminat TomTom Live.

Unfortunatelly, there was no SD card in the GPS slot, and I'm afraid there is no way to get it from previous owner :-(
Thus GPS display "No Maps Found".
I have 2 TomTom devices, so I had previously downloaded some maps for those 2 GPS.... Thus I am trying to create a new SD from scratch for my car. ...

I have a carminat tomtom with a 8842 navcore(last good navcore from tomtom home).

And i want to know if it is possible to put a navcore 9.510 on my device?

Hi guys, just bought an sdcard off ebay and waiting for it to come, just realised it's a connect2 card 1KOAB, my unit is the connect. Would the maps still work in the connect even tho I know the unit wont update? I'll put it back on ebay if it wont work, teach me to look next time

I have just bought a 2003 Renault Vel Satis and am surprised at how good the built in Carminat navigation system is.

Many roads missing though.

I have followed links to download a newer version (.rar files) of the CD (cant afford 119 euros from the official site) but end up downloading .exe files that I am very dubious about opening.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Has anyone had any success in updating the maps on the nissan xtrail with eclipse head unit?

They want to charge $120 for a one off update! Rip OFF!!

I have downloaded the latest australian navteq maps and copied them over the the SD card but the unit does not recognise it. It has some sort of code linking the maps to the unit.

There must be a way round it!

Any ideas?

Bludeep has just posted the CNI1 version, so I'm looking for the CNI2 version of it. Last year I've used the CNC version and it works very well with my 2006 Megane.
