Hi just bought 1 of these

its currently running IGO8 but id like to unlock it and install some other gps software.
Ive used tomtom before so that would be preferable, but ive found opinions saying that IGO PRIMO is better than tomtom and igo 8.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of files needed or even a step by step guide would be appreciated greatly.

i need to unlock acer v200 and put igo8,please help .....

I've hunted this site to make sure i'm not double posting or anything.
I have an nv-u82 (4.3" wide) satnav with a v.old europe map on it.
I know the map is navteq but ive read stuff about how people have cracked it and put igo# on it or something similar, but no how-to!

Can someone point me at the right software and maps to get this thing up to date?

Here are a couple of device frontends i created.

This one was designed for a Navman S50, It is NOT a unlocking method, but is to be used with the mio_moov.zip unlock as an alternative to the desktop. It should work with any 480x272 device though. Edit the paths within the ini/mscr files to match your device.

just seen a couple videos on youtube with some people that have unlocked their generic units by installing miopocket... i am interested in learning how to do this, anyone have any experience with installing miopocket to chinese unit?
