Hello everyone,

Since this is my first post I'll introduce myself first.
I'm Maxim, 18 years old and I'm from The Netherlands.

Since we're going to the USA this summer we would like to take our own TomTom with us (an XXL IQ routes edition (europe)).
Now I was stupid enough to just download a map from the internet and tried to install it on my TomTom, with as a result it doens't work anymore ...

next week I go for vacation to Sweden,4weeks traking.
Normaly I use OSM-Maps, in citys I works nearly perfectly.
But now I have seen that the OSM-maps are absolutly not precise enough, many unchated territorys, out there in the "wilderness".

i´m searching for the garmin Topo-Mpas from "Sweden - Svealand" and "Sweden - Mellersta & Södra Norrland ".
Does someone know were I can get them?

hi i'm wondering if there is link to a tool that i can download to change the audio files.
as when my igo primo 2 says (Recalculate) i want it to say ( God damm it woman don't you know your left from your right )

any thoughts on low bridge poi type files available that can display height on the map,more out of interest than necessity.have seen some available to buy,wasn,t sure if they'll work or are worth it.running primo 2(from this forum) on TA and/or navteq maps.

For the past 2 years I have used NC 9004 which was totally compliant with my Go730 + extras, inc new type skin.
When TomTom stopped compatibility between NC 900X and the new 890 maps, I was forced to use the normal NC 9430 (patched)
The problem is it uses the old style skin, and I have lost total voice control.
1. Is there a way to put the new style skin back on.

No matter what i do the unit sticks on the splash screen

Formated sd card tt clear tool
New or old navcore New or old map unit still sticks on the splash screen.

Is there anyway to reset the internal memory in the unit not the sdcard. Thanx
