Tomtom does not seem to care about the endless requests in their own support forum.
But we are lucky as there are still users out there working on improovements.
Although I don't think an automatic power on is a good thing (people leave the TT on the windscreen and wonder why someone breaks into the car),
you always nagged that this feature is a must have.
KEESSIE74 had the same thought and implemented the power ...

In most cases, you do not need all of them. Try to delete the files not in use to avoid errors.

You might want to know what TT model you have in case you found it on Ebay.
You might also want to know what the correct bootloader for your TT might be...
You might even want to know more....

If so than you noticed it is very hard to find something that has all the info you seek.
There are reviews of some models, the info's on TT's homepage and of course there is WIKI ...

Tomtom Map Changer Version 1.5

Now it can go as far back as the root "/" directory for devices that mount external storage cards away from the default sdcard location.

Recognizes modified apk's (such as a771la's versions) that just use com.tomtom rather than com.tomtom.{region} as the data folder, if this version is found then the installed applications list will be scanned and the first Tomtom app found will be started.

In another attempt to reduce those useless postings, I will provide a set of info that will make life easier for you and ...

I noticed that lately there are more and questions in regards to the different TT APK's as well as complaints based on mixing APK's with map releases from other postings.
So it is time to give some clearity on the matter...


1. All TT APK's with the same version number are totally identical, except for the country name in the menu (and program) and the device ID.
2. The differences in size for some APK's ...

ASR.............................Address Speech Recognition ( aka voice input navigation )
blowfish code................this is the alpha numeric code that forms the meta text
