Hi ALL,

Have Renault Megane III with TomTom Carminat Live.
Want to add a new voice on my SDCard without using TomTomHome.
So, I found a way to do that:
1 - Downloaded fastactivate Light
2 - Copy to SDCard
3 - Downloaded new voice
4 - Copy to SDCard: bmp vif and chk
5 - executed fastactivate Light

Problem:
** File TTGO.BIF or TTNAVIGATOR not found **

So, I searched the SDCard, It's not there.
I think It's stored in my Carminat Live System in my car.

Question:
Is there another way to install voices and activate without having the complete software on the SDCard ?

NOTE: I tried without activating but that's not working, see the new one in the list but system hangs when I try to test the new voice.

13 - Deleted data103.chk.dct from SDCard
14 - Back to my car and now I see the new voice with the .bmp but when I select the new one TT says that this is not a valide voice

Ok .... I see that my reply was not complete added (only the second one) so, here my complete reply:

Thanks for the link.

I found that the ttgo.bif file is stored in the loop directory in the file: ext3_loopback.
Used explore2fs to open the image ext3_loopback and there it was: ttgo.bif so, what I did:

1 - Created an image from my org SDCard and restored on a new SDCard, tested....working.
2 - Exported ttgo.bif using explore2fs to my new SDCard.
3 - Copied a new voice (bmp, chk and vif) to my new SDCard.
4 - Copied FastActivate.exe (1.8) to ../voices to my new SDCard.
5 - From explorer I started FastActivate on my SDCard to activate the new voice with "Activate Maps/Voices/Speedcams" button.

I got the message:
data103.chk => .dct OK!

So, that looks okay to me.

Now I have on my new SDCard in dir voices:
data103.chk (my copy)
data103.bmp (my copy)
data103.vif (my copy)
data103.chk.dct (New: Created by FastActivate)
META.TXT (New: Created by FastActivate)

6 - I removed the new SDCard, added to my TT in my car and started TT.
7 - Tried to use the new voice but see the new one not on the list.
8 - Back to my PC and looked with TTHome and see It's there.
9 - With TTHome I choose "Add Trafic, Voices, Safety Cameras, etc" then "Voices" then "Recorded Voices" and see that the new voice was added to my SDCard so, can't select to add ("Buy")....looks still good, right?.

10 - Again to my car but no new voice.
11 - Then I deleted from the SDCard:
11.1 - ttgo.bif that I copied to the root
11.2 - FastActivate.exe that I copied to /voices
11.3 - META.TXT from /voices that was created by FastActivate
11.4 - DID NOT delete data103.chk.dct that was created by FastActivate because I think this file has to do with the licence (?)
12 - Back to my car but see no new voice.

14 - Back to my car and now I see the new voice with the .bmp but when I select the new one TT says that this is not a valide voice

Any idea what's wrong?
