How to install a map in my Carminat Tomtom

reading is always good - but having Fastactivate in two parts hosted in different sites make download impossible for me. i was able to track down an old version via google, but if there is any chance i get last one will be happy.

It is not in two parts.
One part is the english version, the other is a german version.
If you have one downloaded it is enough you don't need both.

The ttsystem is not accessible by the user on the device, but you can check the install files and you will find it.

I tried to update the maps of Tomtom Carminat. Downloaded patched navcore 8.842 and put new maps in original SD Card. When i loaded SD Card to my Carminat, some system file loaded and after that remote control doesn't works. I think where is no connection between remote control and Tomtom Carminat. How resolve this problem. Please help anyone!!!

now i make all the job using copy of my craminat witch come iwth france map i add all what need TTgo.bif with my system data as eblow

Download NC 8.842

What to do?
~~~~~~~~~~~
0) Put a new sd-card in your Radio/Carminat and let create the folder "loopdir"

1) Extract "NC_8842_Full_Complete_Install_yDGpatch.zip" and copy folders and files to your sd-card.

2) In the loopdir is a file called "ttgo.bif. Copie this file to the root SD Card

3) Use map Europe 975.7688. Unpack it and
Copy the new map to your SD card in its own folder.
When you open the map you see the individual files.
Not a map in a map.
4) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your SD Card root.
Run "FastActivate.exe".
   Select 2.

Done

Ok, I'm trying ... but in the folder loopdir only file is (loopback.ex3) not ttgo.bif..
