I can not find my deviceuniqueID, devicename, applicationversionnumber... etc..
I put original SD card in my comp, click on autoplay and... i dont know... please anyone..

What Navcore and Map version do I have?
What Device ID do I have?
At Carminat:
Hold down INFO/Route key for 3 seconds. It will show "Route Details Screen"
Click right at joystick. It will show "Device Details Screen"
At TomTomHome:
Insert SD card to PC.
Open TomTomHome, click menu "Help->System Info"
It will show the Device Info

Hi MarioLaul, unfortunately your Carminat Live can not be updated outside of TT. Mostly because you can not patch the navcore.
You can only buy a map from TT and install that with the official license file. Only tip I can give you is to wait until TT has got a discount action with 30 or 40% off the regular price. In that case I would advise a one year subscribtion.
That would cost you about 70 -/- 40% = € 42 for the latest Europe map and four quarterly updates.

just one question after getting new card and inserting in to Cars Carminat, I obtained "loopdir", and many more files.
I have carminat 8842, I followed steps stated in here:
What to do?

0) Put a new sd-card in your Radio/Carminat and let create the folder "loopdir"

1) Extract "NC_8842_Full_Complete_Install_yDGpatch.zip" and copy folders and files to your sd-card.

Now I am wondering which files do I need to keep on my new SD card that are created after step 0)?

I did every step (downloaded right map which has meta data etc.) and this is the error i get:

I updated my Carminat a few weeks ago. The TMC with "NC_8842_Full_Complete_Install_yDGpatch.zip" navcore stopped work for me, so I don't recommend to use anyway. If u have the original SD card, you can try what I did: update the original SD with TThome to get the 8842 navcore. Then backup your original SD and copy the content to your new SD (without maps). Download the original TT 8842 navcore cab file from here http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/navcore_8842.542199.Carminat_TomTom.cab then follow this tutorial: http://www.navitotal.com/tutorials-f80/simple-steps-upgrade-carminat-for-newbies-t2620.html For the maps, the latest 990.8316 did not work for me, but the 980.7898 is perfect and still far more up to date than the original maps which was never been updated since the car been manufactured in 2010.
