Renault Laguna 2009 Carminat navigation

At first I am really sorry if this topiv was already discused in another one, I have laguna 2009 and I have carminat radio instaled (Carminat CD bluetooth). So now I want to update map. I would like to have included Slovenian and Croatian mpas that are well covered. And if you please can send me some link to toutorial that shows installation guide and so on.

So if you already have 8.842 then follewing the next procedure

The map you can use is the Europa 970.7467

If you already have the latest navcore 8.842 in your Carminat then the easyist way is:

Open Tom-Tom Home with your old set up engaged, and take note of your Device ID
Help > System Information > Device Code > XXXXXXXXXX

1.Take an empty SDHC 4GB SD Card or higher at least class 6
2.Copy the content from the original SD Card tot the new One
3.Delete the map and copy the new map to your SD card in its own folder.
When you open the map you see the individual files.
Not a map in a map.
4.Look in the loop directory there is a bif file. Copy this bif file to the root of SD Card.
5.Copy FastActivate.exe to your SD Card (root)
6.Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 2 and 3
Done
Insert the SD Card in your Carminat and hopefully everything works.



Create a text file with notepad called ttgo.bif (NOT ttgo.bif.txt) in the root directory of your sd card
and inside put these lines:
DeviceName=Carminat TomTom
DeviceUniqueID=XXXXXXXXXX (Your Unique Device ID with no spaces)
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8842 (Your Current navcore version, this is the latest official)

Hi tnx for quick respond. Is it posible that i do not have TOMTOM navigation system on beacuse there is no way that i can find help on my navigation and take system ID. and second question is where is SD card slot? I have turn my car arround and cannot find it.my radio looks like this

I suppose your Carminat works with CD. I don,t know how you can update it. I think the latest was from 2011

I think that is correct. my navigation works without CD insert in beacuse at the moment i have music CD insert and navigation works. If that is all posible I would like to know where can I download map and how can I install it?

I don,t expect that you can download the map if i am right the latest is from 2011 (5 year old). If you can find such a old map then it has to been
burn to a CD. Sorry but I can,t help you with this I don,t have the knowledge. Maybe some one else reacts.

Of course that is a problem.
Which navcore is it using? 8.842 or higher?
If it's 9.xxx you can not crack it.

I think is 9.844 but maps are sucesfuly unlocked with fastactive.

I've just bought a Laguna 2008 with the Carminat Navigation installed (NOT TomTom) so I'm trying to find the newest UK, France and Spain maps. Can anyone help please?

i have scenic 2009 tomtom carminat with a sd-card can somebody give me the latest maps download link and a step by step instructions beqause i never have updated a car gps system. also i want speedcams i have seen the section off speedcams but i don't know which one would work and wich not so can somebody explain to me how to install and give me the right download link which will work on this system.
