Insignia - Replace CD300 with aftermarket navigation

Postby ivanlatot » Mon Sep 23, 2013 11:32 am

Hello.

I have a Opel Insignia from 2009 and is fitted with Radio CD300. I want to put in aftermarket GPS navigation system instead of CD300.

1. If I have a CD300 and want to put in an aftermarket navigation, do I need to change first CD300 to CD400?

2. Is there any additional programming needed to be done for the new aftermarket solution?

3. If I put in an after market navigation (which comes with GPS, DVD, its own radio and cd/mp3 player, bluetooth) how does the similar functions from CD300 go about? - radio and CD player - as there will be no CD300 display any more in place.

4. Also what about the car configuration options that show up on the CD300 display? Will they be shown on the after market display? Or how are these going to be made?

Thanks and best regards.
