Binatone Unlock

Postby 1888 » Tue Nov 12, 2013 11:39 pm

Its more or less what I did with the CECMD. Everything is in Dataflash\MobileNavigator and in there I have the MobileNabigator.exe Outside the MobileNavigator folder I have 5 files, Device, gpspara0.bin, gpspara1.bin, gpspara2.bin, and gpspara3.bin. I deleted them and they came back. Should I not have a SHELL file out here?

And the only total commander I could find was a dead link from chas521

Cecmd.exe is total commander.

Those files will be recreated on the device, don't worry about them.

Program application database can't be found is an easy fix...

The problem was the sys.tex file Fatboy. I still had it running iGO8. I had to change the first line to app="MobileNavigator" and also delete the [folder] that sat above it. Getting low memory just now but it gives me something to play with. Cheers

Yeah I had found that memory fix mate what did the trick. Funny thing is my other binitone I took a copy of the software and maps what came to 2.50GB. It would not run due to licence but the other sat nav (this one) took it but it would not take igo with west Europe maps (2.48GB) so its running fine and I am slowly adding a country at a time but only installing the ones I go to. So far so good. Only about another four to go.

Always start light, ie start with one map, and add other content gradually.
Overloading with content on a new install usually leads to problems.

I never saw a U505 but I believe it's the same procedure as the others. Search this site for more info.

BTW all versions of iGO Primo are "Truck" versions, you just need the .for files in the map folder.

Did you use a shell.ini file?

Then try,

Create a text file called

SHELL.ini

Make sure there is no .txt on the end.

Open it in notepad and type the path to the new application...

\SDMMC\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe

Modify the path above if yours is different.
Put it in the root of the sd card

I tried but it did not work, it open the normal start screeen with two buttons one with "Menu'' and one with ''Navigation'' but when I press ''Navigation'' nothing happens.

I would check the path in your SHELL.ini, does it start with a back slash \
