We need the entire specifications of the device or the complete name of the device not just the model number.

EDIT: Is this it? [Please Register or Login to download file]

When so, please confirm, it's easiest to install iGO8.3 like this.

  • to install the software use a sd card, install in a folder called "Navi" and rename the executable file Navi.exe.
  • Navigation software settings:
    • GPS receiver COM port: COM1
    • GPS receiver rate: 9600
    • Video output resolution: 480×234

When you instal iGO8 ( I suppose your device has only 64MB RAM, so iGO is the best choice), "install" is no more than "copy the files" and possibly/probably make some changes to sys.txt.

First go H E R E and read all, I suggest you do it slowly and twice so you understand. Download the program.

Unrar the downloaded file on PC, then you wil get a folder called igo. Open it and rename the file igo8.exe to Navi.exe.
Open the file called sys.txt in notepad. Search for ;resolution_dir="320_240" delete the ; then edit "320_240" to "480_234".
The sentence must now be : resolution_dir="480_234"
Close and save.
Rename the iGO folder to Navi.

Copy the folder to an sd card, put it in the device and start it. There should be a start navigation button somewhere, a hardware button or screen button, I don't know. Start the navigation program and do the initial settings. (language and voice). See that you have a clear view to the sky and wait for a gps fix.
Report back.

Remark : There are no maps and other content yet. We will see to that later. First get iGO up and running
