There isn't a lot of information about this device published that i can find and i've never seen this device before so bear with my silly questions...

What i'm wondering is whether i can run an exefile from the SD card, If i can, then a simple script will create the DB folder in the internal memory, Now with most devices an exefile with the right name will run from the SD card on device boot.

Did you try putting a WLNA_Navi.exe on the SD card and rebooting the device?

The device on GPS is really near from the Insignia Nav01C

- I have photo of Hardware inside if you need
- When i put the SD Card restore, the GPS boot on it, Yes, but launch NK.exe i think from NK.Bin (SD Card) and after copy DB folder first and If OK copy WLNANavi480_272
- Replacing the 'WLNA_Navi.exe' on SD card is not a good way because it will not be copied in Internal Storage Card

- Is there any way to change Eboot.nb0, boot.bin, nk.bin on my SD card restore to launch Total Commander or your script ?

Do you know which exe on the SD card is loaded first when the device is booted?

And do you know exactly what the path of the DB folder should be? ie, \Storage Card\DB or \My Flash Disk\DB

Based on this information i can create a script to create the DB folder on the internal memory using Mortscript...

- On internal flash, to launch gps appli it's --> \Storage Card\WLNANavi480_272\WLNA_Navi.exe
- the folder DB deleted was --> \Storage Card\DB

On SD Card there is no Exe loaded first it seems (i have a look with an hex editor)
- Boot.bin - EBOOT.nb0 are loaded first and call nk.bin - in nk.bin we got the script i suppose to make copy folder to folder

Yes ..........

The problem is that the Gps launch Wlna_Navi.exe only from internal Storage Card

The SD Card boot is only here to copy DB folder and if copy ok copy folder
WLNANavi480_272
If it was the invert it will Easy and Ok !

It's not possible to modify my SD boot card ?

boot.bin and Eboot.nb0 and nk.bin to tell them to launch Total commander on root ?

I don't think so, These are ROM files which if modified may not work and end up bricking the device, I'd like to research getting an exe to run off the SD card first...

Yes, i try to modify Rom files to link an exe but do not boot ..

Found an exe, i don't know how it's possible like the only access is booting with SD Card, and SD card doesn't call the Wlna..

The gps boot correctly in folder WlanNavi480_272 and call original Wlna_navi.exe but after stop since DB folder is not present
and no way to replace Wlna_navi.exe, no usb access, no replace possible via SD Card

Tested Autorun.exe no works

I see in EBOOT.nb0 boot.bin a call for nk.exe the only exe.called

The problem is these files are talking to the device on a hardware level through the boot loader, windows ce isn't involved, and also flashing fixes problems with windows and the registry, not on any attached drive, so I believe the only way to fix it is to either try to run an exe file of the SD card or try to gain access through the USB connection or though a jtag interface (requires hardware)

Jtag i can with hardware photo access, fot the usb it's closed, protected,
run exe file from sd seems to be impossible cause no one is called
