Have you tried all my different versions from here in the iGO program sub-section? They are designed to work "out of the box" with TTS.

There seems to be a difference of opinion among some people. A lot of members like Primo 1.1 better than 1.2. Seems that some members have found bugs in 1.2. As for the skins for 1.1, look in the iGO skins sub-forum.

i downloaded them but they are for the resilution 480_272
but my device is 800_480
how can i modefy them?

You need an other data.zip that supports 800*480, I give 2 links hereafter (for v1.2 and v1.1)

Then it's obviously some entry thing that has been added to the 1.1 sys.txt to make it work for you. Compare the two sys.txt[s] and copy the entry if you see it. 1.2 is based upon 1.1 and the kernel is pretty much the same so it might be just a sys.txt entry thing.

OK, now I'm confused. You show me two sys.txts from two different programs and then you say they both worked fine. So, what exactly is the problem? Obviously, I'm missing something somewhere. Please tell me what is wrong even though you say both are working fine.

EDIT: Let me add [color="red"]my[/color] opinion. I use Primo 1.1 instead of 1.2 because I like its navigation ability better. However, I use iGO 8.3 almost exclusively because I like it better than 1.1 because of all the options I can control.

Don't know if anybody is still reading this thread, but well, I use iGo8 on my Pioneer AVIC X710BT fine with all sound, but can't get any from Primo 1.x since a while ... because I was since a while always listening to the radio ...

So I finally found the gimmick for the sound to work again in Primo 1.x.

Very simple and I found that out purely at random, after inserting an USB key with music in that and the A/V was automatically looking to play those songs, and the Primo sound went back to life instantly, both voice and key sound.

So USB, SD (or maybe iPod) music has to be played when running Primo to have sound, but the radio alone is not enough.

Weired behavior but that is it! Hope that this fixes your guys' problems.
